The ISO images i release are meant to be burnt to a recordable DVD and played in either a DVD-A or DVD-V player. The disc’s are menu less to reduce video noise breaking through the players internals, thereby reducing the sound quality, hence they are called ‘Audiophile’ releases.
The releases are sourced from the many formats that were available at the time: Q4 (Reel-to-Reel), Q8 (4 channel version of the 8 track), CD-4 albums and matrix encoded albums, which at the moment includes SQ, QS, DY, EV-4, Matrix-H, HJ and UHJ. These albums are decoded using my own, highly accurate processes, which are capable of supplying the best decodes possible, including all hardware decoders, bar none.
After some 7 years running the original version of the blog, and making all the releases freely available, due to personal financial constraints i found i could no longer absorb the costs involved in running it. So after much consideration, and torn between shutting the blog down or requested a small donation to help cover all the costs, i ran a poll asking whether people would be willing to donate or not.
Donation Per Release: DPR
After the latest series of polls had finished, and having read the many comments, it was decided to split the blog into two, one for Classical releases and the original for all other types of ‘music’. Both will run on the same principle of DPR as before, but with fewer releases per week. I will still continue to hunt down the rare and/or hard to get titles as before.

D Reissues: (D)
From time to time there may be a re-issue of a title that requested a donation for access to it. As of the 6th September 2015, any reissue of a donation title will be freely available to those that previously donated for an earlier version. Due to a large amount of blog data being lost a short while ago i no longer hold information for most of the titles (to this date) as to who donated for what.
To distinguish these from normal reissues they will have a capital D inside brackets after the word Reissue, like this: Reissue: (D) ******
You can request access of the re-issue by supplying proof of previous donation. This prove could be either the BACK cover jpg (only) or proof of previous donation from PayPal. The original torrent is no longer accepted as proof as of the 18th November 2015.
RETURN OF FREEBIES (SORT-OF)
The demise of the ‘Freebie’ folder was a sad lost to many, i’m sure, and i’ve been trying to think of a way to returning to giving releases away to those that have helped keeping the blog alive by their donations and i believe i’ve finally found the right way:
The rules are very simple. I will be sending those that comply with the requirements for the time limit set by myself a torrent for a “Members Specific Release”. These releases will only be available to those that are sent the torrent, which WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR TWO WEEKS FROM THE DAY OF SENDING. After that time the seeding will cease and will not be restarted for ANY reason. A note will be included specifying when the seeding of that particular title will end.
The ‘MSR’ titles , although being shown on the blog, will NOT be available by request or donation, and should anyone attempt to send a donation for one of them then the donation will be for-fitted, but no torrent will be sent…. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
The time specified means anything from 1 month to 3 months and the requirement to receive any given ‘MSR’ will be having donated at least once in the time since the last MSR release to the time of the latest, which could be from 1 month to 3 months, depending on whether i have something to be put out.
The time limit covers both the Classical and Popular blogs although there will be only one ‘MSR’ to cover both of them.
Hard? Yep, and it’s the only way i see of doing it.
