    The audience sounds at the beginning are misleading- it’s a studio album, but I believe the background sounds during Jungle Book were Zawinul’s kids playing while he improvised at home, or they may have been flown in after the fact like the audience. I have the 5.1 SACD, I’ll have to do a compare-and-contrast sometime soon.

    Great stuff, I really enjoyed this. Excellent sound quality to be expected from SACD source, and wonderful music. Sort of like a cross between Pink Floyd and Jean Michel Jarre, except not quite.

    Was this recorded live for all, some tracks or none? The audience sound isn’t there all the time.
