I found this album in 1983, about 12 years after it was released and found it sweet and quite memorable. Carly is an admirable singer and songwriter and has become one of my favorites over the years. I remember hearing this album for the first time on a late beautiful summer afternoon lying in the grass outdoors and being mesmerized by the last song, “The love’s still growing”. Wonderful to hear it again, only better now in quadraphonic. Thanks Lupineassassin and Captain!

Very active use of quad in many songs, and entertaining quad mix as admhs says. I don’t agree that she’s an awful singer though. OK she’s clearly not the best, but there are worse out there, Definitely enjoyable.

It is indeed a good transfer for a Q8, all the inherent flaws in Q8 are under control here and don’t spoil anything. Still, if this could be found on Q4 or CD-4 either of those should produce a better transfer. But if no-one has the media then the Q8 is what we’ve got, and worth listening to.

Thank you! Great transfer for a Q8. A little heavy on the left side for some reason, both front and back, but an entertaining quad mix nonetheless. She’s such an awful singe, still there are a few highlights, especially the opening track, and it’s an enjoyable album.
