I agree, having just gotten this that it’s one of the best quad mixes in my collection. It’s music from the early days of fusion before it turned into fuzak.it stands up well to some of Herbies output from the period, and approaches the energy of some of e beat fusion beingproduced during the period, or Weather Report and Mahavishnu, if not donpositionally, certainly energy-wise.

There is some inspired playing on there. The decode is really good.super clean, and the separation is a marvel. Some of the panning effects (with the synths) around the speakers gave me a real thrill. Now that he’s gone, I realize I should’ve tuned into Coryell a lot more.

Anyone know if Spaces was ever released in quad?

I agree with the other comments, this album is fantastic and the quad mix is great. I only wish it were longer, but that’s the length of a vinyl LP. Some of the tracks towards the end really go for it with the drums and quad.

Wow!! This is absolutely one of THE best quad mixes ever. I can’t say enough good things about it. Totally brilliant I have always dug this album and am a huge Alphonze Mouzon fan but after hearing this in quad it really takes it to a whole other level that I can’t even describe.

Other Eleventh House? Or other Coryell? I don’t recall.

This is outstanding, great mix, fusion really lends itself to quad and quad brings out more detail in the music. Thanks you for another great deed, decoding this wonderful LP.

Amazing. This album just gets better as it goes on. Complete newb to Coryell, but he’s got to be a complete unsung genius on the basis of this album.
