    This is just so 1970s groovy, I was smiling and moving around in time to the music the entire way through. Some great interesting sounds, many instruments you don’t hear in records today and lots of use of quad.

    It’s amazing how the albums around this time for Herbie grooved, but still had the dimensions of jazz to keep it very interesting. The rhythm and overall playing on this are very inspired. Is his “Sextant” in the works by chance? Thanks for posting this classic.

    Fantastic! I couldn’t be more excited and grateful. I saw this band when they were touring in support of this record (opening for Miles Davis) and it was a formative experience.
